Excursions, fieldtrips and overseas trips

When pupils are given opportunities to go for excursions, fieldtrips and overseas trips, a lot of learning takes place. Pupils may be asked to plan what to bring and do. This will help them develop lifeskills like decision making and time management. Overseas trips provide many opportunities for pupils to put into practice what they have learnt in the classroom. For example, in converting currency, pupils will be using what they have acquired in Mathematics.
